I'm a design leader in Zürich. I work in multicultural teams, with stakeholders at every level and in many countries. My job is to connect the people who use a product with the people who decide what it becomes.
To me, design is more than how a product looks. It starts with what the product is for, then brings different views together around a clear vision. The result has to work well, and it should still be a pleasure to use.
At Roche and Novartis I've led customer-centred work on strategic programmes and flagship initiatives. I bring sponsors and stakeholders back to what end users actually need, shape the product strategy, and keep features shipping through continuous research, design, development and testing.
I also build the operations behind design. At Novartis I owned OneDS, the design system 60+ designers work from. I grow teams by trusting designers with real problems. Before that, from 2014, I designed products for EF Education First, Boston Technology Corporation and founders across the globe.

Start with the decision
Every screen exists to help someone decide something. Find that decision first and design backwards from it.
Make alignment visible
Personas, journeys and prototypes are tools for getting a room to agree. I use them early and often.
Systems over screens
A design system with real owners scales a team further than any single hero project.
